Clouhaus Hotel, a stunning boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Chongqing, China, is a testament to sustainable architecture and local craftsmanship. Designed by RooMoo Design Studio, this five-story concrete structure was originally built as a sales office for a resort development. However, through innovative transformation, it now boasts 24 rooms that reflect the mountain's natural character and local craftsmanship. The hotel is perched 1,200 meters above sea level on the northern slope of Jinfo Mountain in Nanchuan District, Chongqing. The design team, led by Ray Zhang, Marine Bois, and Tao Zhang, along with Jeff Chen, has created a space that seamlessly blends modern amenities with the surrounding natural beauty. The project gallery showcases the hotel's unique blend of style and sustainability, making it a standout in the architecture world. The hotel's customized furniture, crafted by Yizhu Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., and wood products, sourced from Chongqing Nanchuan District Dingteng Wood Processing Factory, further enhance the local character of the space. With an area of 1,915 square meters, Clouhaus Hotel is a must-visit destination for architecture enthusiasts and travelers seeking a unique blend of luxury and sustainability.
